CHURCH LEADERS’SYMPOSIUM AND TRAINING WORKSHOP – 6th July, 2006
The purpose of this leadership training is to help sharpen leaders’ focus on the purpose and vision of ministry. Be it the Seed of Life or the larger fellowship, P.A.O.G.
WHAT IS SEED OF LIFE?
Seed of Life is a family of believers who congregate together for the purpose of worship and praise to God, our creator. We operate under the umbrella of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God- Zambia, currently headed by the Presiding Bishop Professor Joshua H.K. Banda. The Lord Jesus Christ has commanded us to go and preach the gospel to all nations as described in the gospel of Matthew 28:19, 20.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Seed of life is a self-supporting, self-governing, and self-propagating assembly with the full mandate to preach the gospel message to nations. We also provide community intervention, such as entrepreneurship clubs and literacy classes. The Council of bishops of The Pentecostal Assemblies of God has already rolled out the 2024-2029 strategic vision, which is “breaking limitations and strengthening the stakes for generational stability.”
The seed of life’s passion and heartbeat is about planting hope, growing faith, one seed at a time. This route aligns us with the P.A.O.G vision statement of spreading, planting churches, and spiritual transformation across Zambia. Meaning that as we train leaders and evangelize and engage communities, we are part of strengthening the body of Christ’s mission across Zambia.
